Fine Museum Quality 11th or 12th Century Bronze Khmer image of a goddess, probably Uma. This Angkor period Bronze image of Uma is a nicely cast image, a fine and beautiful green patina has developed on the bronze over the past 1000 years since originally made. She well preserved, with no damage or restoration other than the detail in her tiny fingers is now worn away. Chosen for the wonderful emerald green and olive patina. This image is vey nice with good detailing of her face, sampot, headdress and earrings, good face, perfect patina, a good size at 4.75. Very rare quality piece. The image is professionally mounted on a stylish new bronze stand.
Good condition, no repairs or restoration.
